For our fourth stop on season two of Hoka One One Top Trails we visit the Salt Lake Valley in Utah.  Hoka Runner Karl Meltzer who lives in Sandy, UT takes us on his bread-and-butter run from Little Cottonwood Canyon Road up the Alta Trail. From there, the wintertime ski areas have numerous trails that weave through the mountains, making Sandy, UT an outdoor destination with some of the best skiing in the world in the winter, and some of the best trail running in the summer. 

In this episode, host Matt Barnhart visits the Wasatch Running Center to talk to Darrell Phippen (Manager, Wasatch Running Center) about the extensive canyon trails throughout the Salt Lake Valley.  Later, Barnhart goes to Ogden Utah to talk to Jim Skaggs (Happy Utah Mountain Runners) about the Wheeler Creek Trail.
