Daniella Moreno is a trail runner living in Santa Barbara, CA. She is originally from Downey, CA where she got her start in running, and was recruited to run in college. As someone who always loved the outdoors, she wanted to choose a college with a location that would allow her to run on dirt as much as possible- something that Santa Barbara provided. She ran at UC Santa Barbara focusing on  the 10k, but after graduating began to shift focus to trail races, and has recently had success winning and placing well at a number of high-profile events. Daniella is also an outdoor enthusiast involved in numerous activities outside of running including spear-fishing, canyoneering, paddle boarding and snowboarding.
