Mike Wardian is a 42 year old marathon and ultra marathon runner from Arlington, VA.  He played lacrosse at Michigan State, until his junior year. Looking for ways to keep fit, he saw his friend’s mom who had just finished running the Boston Marathon, and decided he wanted run it. Wardian qualified for Boston in his first marathon- the Marine Corps Marathon, and after running the Boston Marathon, he was hooked. Since then, he have become known for competing frequently across numerous distances, and attempting unique challenges and running back-to-back races.
